Last month, I shared my first BTS email. We previewed some of my analytic data &sed those numbers to tell the story of how Soulwork is moving through inboxes, screens, and cities. But numbers are only one kind of archive. The deeper story is how this work wants to feel in your hands.

Let’s talk about the zine.

Zines have always been a form of rebellion. Handmade, low-cost, and passed from hand to hand, they carried the words of those shut out from the presses. Zines have a long history with Black radicals, queer poets, feminist dreamers and punk artists.
